Any interest in a private track day at VIR this winter?
Yes and Yes. (at least until the sol gets b00st!) The North course would be pretty fun as its still very technical, great for slower/underpowered cars. And like Chris said... the big loss is the climbing esses and Oak Tree.
Oh,nice!Didn't realize that was you,Tim.It'd be awesome to have as many full track Hondas there as possible.
The price for patriot was all inclusive for up to six drivers. It's $150 more per driver over six. It's not bad at all,as that's totally affordable for six people.I just feel like Patriot is too small for most non-drift stuff, and the stupid additional fees for Full and for more than six drivers may put the larger courses out of some people's budgets.
Either way,I'll include you in the group as I get more info.

Yea I agree, the flying esses are pretty nuts, and the back straight would be ridiculously fun in the 240...I drove it on parade laps in my GTO when I had it and it was alot of fun. I just wanna drift down the roller coaster, it'd be more hair raising than any freakin coaster I've ever been on!
Following thread. Cannot commit as I need to pull my engine in preperation for 2012 (which starts in Feb) but saw the flyer at VIR the last time I was down there & entertained the thought of doing this myself. Even if I cannot attend, good luck!
Thanks for the interest.I'll add you to the list of possible attendees.I need to update the original post anyway.December is basically completely booked, and with so many people having incomplete cars it'd be hard to do it next month anyway.
I'm going to wait until after Christmas so everybody can start recovering financially, and maybe the 1st-2nd week of January we'll set a date. It'd be great if this weather continues through the winter, but I'm worried it may turn a complete 180 by February.
