Nah, It is perfect. Alot of autox guys on this board use the setup. Im not saying its easier. JUST A POSSIBLITY

Sounds like you need either a second set of hands or some help from someone who's done whatever it is your attempting because I wouldn't consider headers that tough of a job.... I did a head swap on a 5.0 fox body in about a day (saturday) at the hobby shop which is a pretty involved swap and it went mostly error free.
