I've never had a problem getting a refund from there. It's not like they can't afford it, 10 dollar tickets, way overpriced drinks + popcorn. Even with all the refund and shit they still make money. Next time you go to your free movie you'll splurge on popcorn etc, lol.

I still like them anyway. Seats are comfy. If only they would make an all IMAX theatre, better than science museum, that place SUCKS. Seats suck and they treat you like a god damn 5 year old. Anyone who saw batman there knows what i'm talking about.

 

You can take your own food/drinks in there.. so I usually go grab something from the food court first or bring something I want to snack on from home.

I always want to...but I NEED the theater popcorn and a soda to make the experience complete.

 

That's awesome! I went a few years back to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter (yea, yea...I like Harry Potter) and the film messed up and they gave free movie passes out after they fixed it....but no popcorn and soda pop! I feel jipped! lol

 

Slightly off topic...but the AMC up here in Alexandria has 1 IMAX screen.

 

Lynnhaven will have an IMAX screen around November just in time for Harry Potter.

 

I'm not surprised in the least. I worked for AMC Lynnhaven 8 (outside of mall) and 5 (upstairs in mall) for 4 years when I was younger. Customer Service is more important than anything else there.
