That's the easiest and cheapest place to start first. Also, clean out your throttle body/intake system.

get some Carb Cleaner and spray around the engine and see if the idle stops or drops.

well you replaced the iacv so did you make sure there is no air in the coolant system?
when you take the iacv off air gets in..

its the fast idle thermo valve.....google it and it will solve your problem also join a prelude forum you would have had it fixed by now DUH

This is most likely the problem. Do a search for fitv. You will need to open the backside up and screw the plastic piece on the inside back down. If located in va beach area and want someone to fix it for you, pm me.
