Give it at least a couple minutes.

Mine taps for a few seconds on occasion on cold mornings. What oil are you using. I basically played with different weights till I found one that ticked the least.

im just using normal 10w-30. what are you using?

mobil 5w30

For shits and giggles I'm gonna try some of the mobil 15w50 next time.

I have also used durablend 5w30 and it works (ticking wise) just as good.
