He does have a point, why should the cops be allowed to have illegal tint and we can't. There is no reason patrol officers to be riding around with illegal tint. The cops are obligated to follow the same laws that we do. It might be something you could bring up in court.

For their safety.

Didn't we just go over this?

Yeah, go ahead and use that argument in court and let us know what happens.

safety for them is bullShit. Their windows are dark and can cause accidents. They are driveing fast (doing what cops do) ne_ways and with dark windows it will only obstruct there vision and can cause more damage then good.

The ticket should only be around $40, but the processing fee is where they put it in you.

I agree 100%.

If you are allowed to own and operate a panel van with no rear windows, what is the difference if you can't see through the back glass of my passenger car.

The other BS is SUVs, Vans and trucks are allowed darker tint in all windows behind the fronts. In fact in a pick-up you can black out the back glass provided you have two side view mirrors.

I believe the true reason for the tint is the few idiots that ruined it for the rest of us. Just picture before it was illegal to have dark windows, people probably tried to blame their window tint for accidents that occurred at night.

Sadly people want to become less and less responsible for their own actions and/or parenting resulting in the government being forced to imply legislation to control and protect the morons.

The tint problem can be solved with a medical waiver(I have one).

I just need a hearing doctor to give me a waiver for my loud exhaust

how do i know it's a real cop behind the tint...it might be a crazy mass-murder behind the tint that stole a cop car.

may be my tint is for my safety from the crazy ex.

IHMO on tint is too keep cool in the VA heat...it get hot as a mo-fo here. And if i were to get pulled over my car would be off and windows down.
crazy mass murder behind the tint of a stolen cop car... riight, you'd think there be a assload of other cop cars behind him trying to catch him? that was the stupidest thing i've ever heard

im pretty sure your crazy ex would recongnize you based on your car, if not then shes a stupid fuck

VA heat... clearly you've never been to texas or miami..

i have 35% all around, but being an out of state driver in NJ from VA gets me out of tint tickets. but i know their illegal and if i get a ticket for them in VA i guess i'll just pay it.
