exhaust questions 98 ex
so my friend had a custom exhaust made for him at a great price, it sounds good and everything. i'm thinking about doing the same. i want to know whether or not i should keep the CAT, where i would put the o2 sensor in the cat.
i have a b18c and 4-1 headers. i'm thinking about a cat-less 2.5" pipe with my ebay "peformance" muffler

IMO a premade catback is where it's at. They will almost always sound good.
Let me know if you interested in any paticular type, I have friends with all types of different ones.
If your NA, keep your cat. Backpressure is your friend. Upgrade maybe to a high flow cat.
And seeing how your probably OBD-2, keep it def.
