Default question about coolant change...

switching out watter wetter and putting coolant in on the new bike and i've always just flushed the system...this manual says to flush the system but when removing the drain bolt on the water pump to also remove a drain bolt on the cylinder. I've never done this before...does that sound normal to anyone else? thanks for any info

I guess theres a drain bolt on the cylinder too. Is the RR or the 1000? Either way you should be fine just removing the drain bolt on the water pump housing, also maybe undo any of the coolant hoses you can easily get to and dump some more out that way.

it's the 600rr. yeah, i'm just gonna do that. i can easily see the cylinder drain bolt behind the header but i've never seen that done before . don't know. i just don't want any water left in there when it's starting to get cold...that's all i'm worried about
