First off, the tint law is bullshit. Why is it bullshit? Its bullshit because ffx co. has plenty of cruisers (both marked and unmarked) with illegal tint. How about that, a double standard they can break the law and we can't. The next time any of you get stopped by a cruiser with tinted windows and he gives you shit for tint, ask him to put a tint meter on his windows.

I've had the same thing happen with exhaust. Got hte ticket 3 week previous then paid it and got pulled over 3 days after payin it, did i bitch though, no. I knew it was illegal so nothing i can complain about. I was able to get out of 2 exhaust tickets though stating i had just bought the car and it came with it. So yea i got yanked 4 times last yr alone for it.

I don't understand "VA is stupid their laws such and shit" if you don't like it change it. Go out and vote for this kind of stuff, I don't undestand how people in the 18-30 age range don't really vote, but we have the most to lose. Quit bitching and go change the laws.

Let me explain my self real quick about the tint. When i first bought the car in 99 I liked the car with no tint. My car got broken into 3 times with no tint. My boy from b-more told me i should get tint so its alot harder for would be thieves to look into the car so it won't be as attractive and make everything noticeable. So that is the reason for tint. Yea FFX police is doing there job but sometimes they are also out there just to make there quota for the month.
For example:
Last year I got a ticket because my front license plate was not bolted down. The license plate was zip tied to my front bumper and i have asked a state trooper if that was ok and he said it was fine and the cop was just being dick. The plate was visible in plain view. So I got a ticket for that. Then he gave me a ticket because my car was to low. He measured my car with me (Big Boy) in it and he measured 14.5 inches and he told me the the law is 15 inches and he gave me a ticket for that. When he gave me both tickets, he walked away and hi-fived the other cop and started laughing and talking.
That was a situation that really pissed me off and I know for sure that those tickets were quota tickets!

I am a huge tint fan....but honestly tint, makes people more curious to what you have inside the car...If your shit was all clear, and stock looking nobody would give 2 shits about the car, but its not and tinting the windows is least to your benefit when coming to having cars broken into and using tint as as excuse.
Now shit, I will have to say I had a great expierience with the FFX Friday night...I was driving a friend home, one house to another...same neighborhood...drunk as shit on Friday around 4am, rolled a stop sign, got pulled over...The cop didn't even ask me about alcohol or drinking or nothing....Gave me the ticket and let me go...WEIRD! Got lucky.
