I guarantee... even with a 110v fluxcore, it wont break off. I've done this on many set-up including 2 of my boosted hondas.... Had it for years... at least 3 years. As long as the person doing the welding knows what he/she is doing....
just a quick question really, I need to weld o2 bungs in a header and was wondering if I should weld with acetylene and weld rods, or brazing rods?
I was thinking that if I brazed it that it may crack from the header heating and cooling so much, but I think brazing would be easier so I don't burn a hole in the header.
anyone have an opinion?
brazing melts from 800 degree. I dont think i'll last but i perfer tig cause its a neater weld and it last
well damn, i guess i'll have to mig it then, i just didnt want slag all over my header
if u live closer i could've done it for free lolz, tig the crap out of it, but if ur runing obd 1 u also can get a cat with the bung already ther and run it there
