car trouble
ok this is the second time its happened. ill be driving, and as i slow down to stop at a light, it feels as if im driving over a road thats got a lot of ridges/bumps on it. the cars idle gets low, and it feels as if its struggling. then when im completely stopped the car just dies. so i put it in park, then back to drive and it dies again. it does this a couple of times and then it finally stays on. anyone have any idea whats up?

Re: car trouble
The promlem is the torque converter clutch solenoid. Gm cars had problems with these and my girlfriends car (91 Buick Century) does the same thing. If you can find the wiring diagram somewhere I recommend disconnecting the connector or cutting a wire to the TCC. The negative side to doing that is a small loss of fuel economy at speeds of over 45 mph. Positive is that its a pain to change the solenoid and it costs money. Good luck.
