Default My B18c1 wont idle when cold

I Placed a B18c1 in my 99 civic hatch that had a D16y7. i have a obd2b to obd2a harness to conect to the ECU. I removed the foward cat and installed a DC header with a foward 02 sensor before the cat and one o2 sensor imulator for the second .The installation went flawless Except the car wont stay on when first started if cold. i removed the throttle body and cleaned all the tiny grooves, i also removed the iac valve and cleaned the filter. after adjusting the iddle screw the car runs rough when cold but i still have to give it gas when first started till it finally maintains it self running. I just purchased an after market TPS but i dont think there is anything wrong with the one i have someone please help. I am running out of ideas

Have you checked the adapter harness wiring, and any wiring changes you made during the swap? You really need to do a resistance check between each sensor connector (the sensor doesn't have to be plugged in) and the ECU connector. That means keeping everything in-circuit, including the adapter harness. You're looking for broken wires or incorrect harness pinouts. It's an easy thing to do, and very important if you're having problems with a swap or new harness. After you've done that, and you haven't found a problem, you can then start testing/troubleshooting the sensors themselves.

FYI, O2 sensor emulators don't always work properly, but I doubt that's the problem you're having.

And keep the number of thread bumps down, give it some time first..

you can try resetting the ecu. disconnect the neg. battery cable for 10 mins. should reset codes in the ecu. but they will come back if the problem persists.
