(stock single cam Vtech) I'm stoped at a light, and the car just dies. My tank was on E so I figured i'd just go to get some gas. Did that still no turnover. Ok cylinders have compression of 180 across the board (the gsr put out 240) plugs fire, and injectors have fuel. Vehicle has 195,000 miles Timing belts little old (no telling bought the car 3-4 months ago) and loose than average but still the motor was at TDC. Already i'm going to replace the timing belt & pump today (because it needs to be done anyway) now if it does'nt start from there I'm stuck. What to do Add 93 maybe I put in some shitty gas... Dont know... Its cranking but not turning over..

 

I guess my definition of "turning over" is different than yours. To me, that means the motor will not move at all or "not rotating pass TDC".

Have you manually turned it over to see if you can make a complete revolution with ease?

 

No going to check that now...! Thanks oh and btw its cranking but not turning over....

 

Thanks it was the run side of the coil. Ignitor was fine cars runing like it was now...
